I use my ET,, but I elected to use a wheel powered Craftsman lawn sweeper.
This does a fair job on leaves, but more importantly, does a good job on
pine needles (I live in a white pine grove. There is still enough left to
rake, but its not quite so physical.
The sweeper seems most effective on leaves if you don't cut the lawn too
short and set the brush height to just above "stall altitude" where the
brushes lock up on friction from the surface. It is also good on grass
clippings in the summer.
Like all sweepers, it fills up too fast due to the leaves being whole and
not packing.
