Re: (ET) Diagnosing an extremely noisy mowing deck?

Update on the noisy mower deck:

All the bolts in the mower deck & baffles are solid & quiet.

The rear rollers are very sloppy! That's definitely a part of the
problem (but not all of it). I can bang them against the axle with my
hands pretty loud!

I haven't checked the mower shafts for up/down slop yet. I can't
raise the deck when the mower's in its normal parking spot.

I'm not sure how to check the mower support arms, but I know one of
them is weaker than the other (probably due to my teenage son running
the mower into trees and logs, sigh) because the deck cocks to one
side when you lift it.

More tests this weekend, hopefully.
