Re: (ET) E20 Foot Switch Lube

Hm. I replaced the two pins that go into the footboard on the pedal with a real good door hinge, and it works a lot better. I think it cocks to the side, contributing to friction that causes it to stick.

There should also be a way to adjust the spring force, or you could get a stronger spring. I used a thin layer of lithium grease on mine, tends to stick a bit more in the winter.

Every now and then my E20 foot switch sticks just enough so it doesn't

I've cleaned it and tried various lubes on it (forget what I tried last
time), but evidently I don't have it set up right. It's like the spring
isn't strong enough, but I suspect it is really misalignment or an error
in lubrication (too much, too little, wrong type).

Any words of wisdom?

Thanks,
