Re: (ET) ER8-36 deck motors

The ER 8-36 motor mounts higher on the deck (mounting flange is lower on the motor) and the breaker is on the side of the motor for height clearance.  They may physically mount on the 42" front mount deck, but I'm not sure if the blades will be to high to work properly.??  I never tried it.  I would think they are the same HP.
