(ET) mower deck sleeve retainer

Hey there - had the 1/2" shaft come loose from its sleeve on my front 
mount mower deck.I can't tell from the parts diagram what kind of 
retainer it uses - the hole in the sleeve doesn't line up with hole 
in the shaft.I tried a roll pin but it keeps shearing off. ( had to 
drill a new hole in the sleeve to use a roll pin).  Anyone know ? -
