I never knew about the said bracket. I drilled a hole through the frame and the bracket after inserting it, and installed a small bolt and a locknut. Works great.

I believe both Jim Coate and Harold Zimmerman are close to VA and can ship same day. Give them a call and see what they can do.

Hi folks
Andy Poush here in VA with an E15. Its been years since i bought any ET parts and just discovered the front mower guide is supposed to have retaining brackets that bolt onto the bumper. Since the mower guide has been slipping out i really need to solve the problem.

1) has anybody found a better way to retain the guide than the oem part? If so please describe it.

2) the needed oem part 243a4786p1 (qty 2) could be sourced from more than one vendor (according to myelektraks.com). Ideally id like to order from a place close to VA that would ship the same day by std ground. Can anyone recommend a vendor that fits those criteria?
