So, if it's new old stock I would think it originates with Gunn.  He had pieces made under contract, like the mower I bought which was pretty faithful but still more yellow than mustard.

Weird. I have to agree that my E20 and the E15 both have the more mustard yellow color. So I wonder why this factory replacement panel looks like a canary.
