Re: (ET) mower motor assy ?

OK, I have the upper seal, which fits in the recess. Is the lower seal 1/4" or so larger in diameter than the upper? I have one that size but note that it's ID is considerably larger than the armature shaft. Is that correct?

Thanks.

When I rebuilt my mower motors, I found the remains of the upper motor seal stuck to the bottom of the lower bearing. You will find it when you pull the armature and bearing assembly out and pull the bearing. With the old grass clippings and stuff it looks like part of the bearing.

Thanks.
