(ET) Charger origins

Some time ago I undertook to identify which chargers from Soneil come from China, and which do not.

Based on a review of my stock on hand, I would say the majority of the low power chargers are made in China (including the ACI 604CC, ACI 1202CC, 1205SR, 1206s, 1214S, 2404S, 2409SR, 3602S, 3605S, and 4804SR).

Many of the medium power chargers are made in Malaysia, including the 1212SR, the 2408SRF, the 2412SRF the 3610SRF (that I use in my E12), and the 4808SRF. The 2416SRF is also likely made in Malaysia, though I don't have one on hand to check.

I have 2403SR and 4812SR in stock, but they do not show the country of origin. Based on the cases and packaging, I would guess the 2403SR is made in China, and the 4812SR is made in Malaysia.

Years ago, I used to see some of the medium power units labelled as made in Philippines. I have heard that some of the high power units (e.g., 50 amp constant current output) are still made in Canada. I can't vouch for that as I have not yet sold one of the high power units. I would be happy to sell someone a 3650SR (25 amp constant output) to charge their ET and find out, but they are a bit on the spendy side.

Hope this information was helpful to someone.
