Re: (ET) Snow topped the blower, now what?

We got well over a foot here in Central PA... Never get this much at a time usually. I didn't even bother getting the ET out. I just have a blade and it would have been totally useless. Even with my gas two-stage blower it took a good three hours of hard work to clear everything. Wow.

A foot of snow is normally fine; I had no problem with the 20 inches we got last month. The E20 just powered right up the hill with the blower. Takes no time at all.

This though is more wet/heavy and is just too high (I measured 28 inches minimum, 36 inch drifts, 40 inch drifts in the yard). The E20 simply can't get up the hill while also burrowing into the snow. Need more traction.

Speaking of which, what is the max amount of weight one can put in the weight box? I have 40 bb600's for about 150 pounds, I could stack another 150 pounds of lead on there. Or will that just break the stabs or something?

Probably gonna sell the blade - I just don't use it enough...

I could be interested in it if you'd like to meet me somewhere. I live just south of Baltimore in Relay; nice little town with a lot of hills and snow.

Maybe in the spring.
