(ET) Finding Vicor DC-DC's and seat care

Two other questions: The E-meter in my E20 is dead, basically because 
the voltage spikes coming out of the Elec-trak's 36 volt line at the 
front of the tractor incinerated the Vicor DC-DC. I'd like to try 
another one (this time one with a big input capacitor and located at the 
battery, not in the front) however does anyone know where to get a good 
VI-221-C type regulator (one that is 36 volts to 12 or so).

Other question is on seat care: Now that I have a place for the tractor 
I'd like to put this perfect condition rear seat cushion on the tractor. 
However it's flawless but has been inside for years. What kind of 
treatment should I give it to keep it soft, supple, and flexible so it 
doesn't crack?
