Um, actually... he didn't. And I may have access. This was supposed to 
be last winters project and a year snuck by with my house sale in limbo, 
but the house finally is sold and I'll be getting back to this project 
and hope to have good news about new & improved decks this winter.

[note I'm on very limited internet access this week so may not see any 
replies for a few days]
