Congrats on the East Penn GC15's! 40 is a steal!4AWG THHN should be more then enough. The original wiring was 6AWG to/from/between the batteries, and they should be able to take the current. 4AWG gives quite a bit of breathing room. When I made my wires I used lug connectors (From Home depot, the grey ones..just fits 4AWG) , el-Cheapo(tm) crimper, then used a torch to solder the connector on. Even after 2 hours of heavy work they are cold as a cucumber. No clue. Sorry. I don't use washers on mine, but I don't have those posts... http://www.elec-trak.com/forum/album.php?albumid=2&pictureid=15 You can see my terminal posts and the lug connector connected. B |
