On my E-12 the side panels were well rusted but don't think riveted in. Small bolts held panels center cowl and front grille. My fix goes back to Fall '99 and before I discovered POR15. At that time I removed panels, sanded/wire-brushed away the loose rust, then, with a plastic tray, soaked the rusty area in Dupont metal conditioner 5717s, then repaired weak spots with fiberglas reinforced Bondo, primed with Rustoleum and topcoated with Centari acrylic enamel. Still good. Today, I would use the metal conditioner following with POR15 silver, then the Bondo and so on. The finish I had made up is very faithful to the oem yellow. It is Sperry New Holland Yellow, these label numbers are still visible and perhaps understandable to you (but not me). 758S drier 34.7 705A black 6.6 700A white 304.1 734A pon orange 35.4 732A fer yellow 122.7 738A lt yellow 189.2 Having said this, my file has a note about a list member that makes these panels...Keith Stieg. I can tell you're having so much fun you just can't stand it. Cheers, Jack On Jul 25, 2009, at 12:24 PM, Christopher Zach wrote:
