Re: (ET) Alltrax controller question

Hey, Dave. I was thinking of doing just that by adding a center-tapped
10K pot to the factory throttle lever (yes, I found some!), and using the
factory reverse microswitch. That way, the reverse option would have a
built in safety that it could only be engaged by first going to zero
throttle. The factory lever has enough drag built in to remain steady,
and I'm used to a lever throttle on a mower.

For now, I'm using a knob and a separate switch until I get the
mechanicals ironed out.

Can't tell you how well it works yet, as the restoration is only 50%
completed, and the garage is too hot to work in for the moment here in
Savannah. But hopefully this fall I'll be able to make a first mow and
put up a restoration album.
