Re: (ET) replacement rollers for rear of mower deck

No. But I'm glad to see I've got one of you trained. :)

Hi all,

Anyone have a suggestion for off-the-shelf or very-little-modification-needed material to use as replacement rollers for the rear edge of my E15? (ok, RJ, it's an E15HA ;-)

I seem to remember some discussion about this a couple years back. I think someone mentioned machining them out of Delrin or Nylon or something. But I don't have access to the right machines for something like that.

I'm ripping up the yard on turns and reversing, with the bracket ends that hold the rod that the rollers run on. I have no idea what diameter the rollers were when they were new, but the outer rollers now have a distinct taper to them and are nowhere as large diameter as the inner ones. I imagine they were all the same, uniform diameter when new?

Jim Coate, are you going to be selling rollers like these ?

thanks,
Joel
