(ET) Removing mower blade

Just a follow-up on my question about removing a stuck nut holding the 
blade, on a battery powered B and D push mower:

Soaked it with PB Blaster overnight.  Then had my wife help hold the 
blade while I whacked the end of a breaker bar with a small sledge.  
Much to my amazement, after a few hits, it spun right off.  Life's not 
often that easy, around here.  ;-)
