Geof,
I thought this looked pretty good - until I figured out that the $70
device is an add-on. You first have to have the base unit which has
the LED readout - PakTrakr 600, which costs $150, and monitors 6
batteries.
It is still a good idea, just more expensive. It appears to show only
one battery at a time, with a button to cycle thru the bank. (?)
I wonder - could one use a rotary switch (thermocouple junction box)
to connect more batteries?
I noticed the absence of a company address on their website, which
usually merits suspicion. However, I think this was maybe an oversight
by them, as the address is listed in the brochure you can download.

HI
Check out this URL http://www.paktrakr.com/index.html. Pretty cool
product for around $70. I have no commercial interest in this product
just found it and think it solves the monitoring problem some you folks
are dealing with.
Cheers
Geof
