You are correct Dave, but my Kill-A-Watt drops out whenever the current
supply is interrupted even very briefly. Here where I live we can hardly go
through a day or two without an interruption in our power supply. I have a
UPS 650 Back-UPS connected to a small video monitor which beeps whenever
there is a surge or drop off of current. Whenever there is a beep you can
bet that the Kill-A-Watt memory has been lost. Maybe yours is different?

my kill-a-watt meter will hold the data as long as it is plugged in to
the wall. the appliance doesn't have to be plugged in. thus when I
unplug my e-trac for spin and plug it back in later the data collection
continues where it left off. Is that what you're wanting to do Raymon?
