Re: (ET) Broken again
Maybe we should start another thread about men vs. women. Another
difference - my wife accuses me of having "screw with it till its
broke" disease. So does my brother-in-law by
coincidence. I bet its common to members of this group.
The main symptom is a desire to get a repair or construction job from
"OK" to "perfect", by doing things like making sure
the screw slots are all lined up or trying to use the exact factory color
coding on a rewiring job. The result of this little extra effort
towards perfection is that the screws snap off or the wire is unavailable
so the rusty machine sits in the garage (her side of course) for
months. My wife sees this "screw with till its broke"
syndrome as being exclusively a male "problem." Sometimes
she substitutes another word for "screw" to should her level of
utter dismay.

So, has anyone found a way to protect the field wires?!

I hate it when I do stuff like that. Best I can say is that
Murphy's
Law happens to all of us.
