Hello All,
I too have broken wires under the elec-trak. Luckily it was
just the break RTN interlock wire, which was a quick fix.
When it first stopped running I dreaded that I had ripped
the field wire off.
At the time I was using the elec-trak as a skidder going
over a pile of brush.
I am the poster boy of how not to treat your
elec-trak.
Some day I will
post all of my misadventures, so hopefully people will learn form my
mistakes.
Ever since that day I have been looking at ways to put skid
plates on the tractor to protect the wires as well as avoiding getting
branches stuck between the drive belts and pulleys.
