Most inverters are designed to handle surge loads. True sine wave inverters are the best, especially for running motors or sensitive electronics, but a modified sine wave inverter should be ok for a few days intermittent use at a time such as with your application. Are the Tripplites modified sign wave inverters? It is hard to find a 36 volt inverter. Might make more sense to just set up another battery bank at 12, 24, or 48 volt and then you have a large choice of inverters to choose from such as Xantrex or Exeltech. |
