I checked the spec sheet on their website and that's the float voltage, 
which is fine. The bulk phase termination voltage is 14.7 (2.45vpc), about 
right (IMO) for golf car batteries.  It would also be OK for Hawker 
Genesis 
and Optima AGM batteries, but it would be too high for most other AGMs, 
and 
too high for >any< gel batteries I know of.
