That's easy.  Just raise the back edge with the lift a bit.  Happens to me all the time when cutting the ruff in my backyard.

I am looking for an answer on how to prevent the mower from digging into the dirt and flipping over while backing up.  I seems very unsafe.  The rear corners dig into the dirt and therefore the mower turns up and exposes the whirling blades.  Suggestions?
