Or just get a charger with some brains.  

I've never felt the need for individual battery monitors on the ET, but 
then 
I very seldom use anything over 50% of my battery's capacity.  I guess 
they 
can't hurt, especially since the packs are tapped.

One of these days I'm going to get DC:DC converters for the lift and 
lights 
and do away with these bloody battery taps once and for all.
