The RAV4 EV takes a small paddle charger. This charger is a large paddle
charger and will not work and cannot be made to work with any vehicle that uses
a small paddle charger.

Think of it as cutting a transformer in half: the primary
winding is the
Magnecharger paddle, the secondary winding is the charge
port on the
vehicle.
As such, it is only useful to those with a matching vehicle:
the (now
mostly crushed) GM EV-1's, GM S-10's, Toyota Rav-4's, some
Solectria's,
and a few others. Like ET's, shipping is a pain so where your
friend is
located and who is looking in the immediate area has a lot to do
with
the price. As other have noted, the going price is nowhere near the
$1000's it originally cost.
