Re: (ET) one blade not cutting well

This post about spacers/adapters for Gator blades got me to thinking about a question I've been meaning to ask the group.

In my collection of blade clutch bodies, I have two different lengths. One
is a 1/4" longer that the other. I'm about 90% sure that the longer blade
clutch is used on the 36" deck motors and the shorter one is used on 42"
decks.

Anybody know for sure?

Michael,

I'm wondering if, perhaps, one (or more)of the spacers I made may be too
thick? That may not let the bolt and washer clamp down on the blade hard
enough. You could try swapping spacers and see if it makes a diiference.
Other than that I still like the idea someone put out that the rightmost
blade gets 'fed' clippings from the other blades and is most likely to
get overwhelmed.
