Seriously, I have to side with the folks who counsel against using the 
charger to run the tractor.  It's just not intended to supply that much 
current.  A trip to a local golf course, industrial vehicle dealer, 
battery 
supplier, or even an auto parts store or even the boneyard should net you 
some usable (if only somewhat so) batteries for a few dollars.  You can 
even 
use 3 old car batteries in a pinch.  Why risk the charger and tractor 
circuitry to save a trip?
