BTW, just last week a guy doing overseeding in my yard
got off his ICE honda tractor and it went down the
hill and ended up about 6 feet under!  Its engine is
stuck now!  I'm hoping my deck motors keep running!

I'd say take the tops off the motors and clean them out. Rust in therewill not be good. And they are expensive to get.
