Agreed. So does every other EV I've seen or implemented regen on.
The Prizm actually has a really neat regen limiter that limits regen voltage on the pack to 365 volts and fades out the current. Used a lot when the pack is cold or full or both (cold batteries tend to pop high on voltage when near full charge)
Well, that does take time, but if the voltage is too high you can simply turn off the drive FETs and float the armature, torque and current will drop to zero, the voltage will simply match the motor speed.
Little bit, but well within the T105's capacity for overcharge. Chris
