Yep. The Decathalon was pretty interesting this year; they're really testing the batteries; we have had 4 days of rain here after 2 months of nothing but sun.

Figures.

I'm probably going to go with the Tripp-Lite; it can be gotten for <$1,000. Right now though I run 48 volt AGM batteries in my shed into an APC Matrix UPS 3000 unit. It puts out 240 and has a 100lb transformer in the base to handle real surges the old fashioned way: With iron.
