May want to see if you are experiencing any voltage drop through your switch if you experience the same symptoms.
Yup. The factory disconnects are old and crud. Remember if you replace them you need to put in some sort of fuse, as the old ones had a fusable link in there as well.
Also check out your contactors; a loose wire will cause them to run hot=less power.
