Re: (ET) Sleeve hitch
Yes, you just need the U-part (14) and associated hardware.- basically
the lower left part of the drawing. As you suggest, I think the
electric lift attaches right to the bolt (1). My manual lift uses
chains (28). The bolts (3) attach to the hanger on the ET.

Interesting, and that is pretty simple. Looks to be a better solution
than the little flat tongue that's default on the Elec-trak. All the
Sears junk seems to be geared towards getting that U bar mounted to
the back of a garden tractor bulkhead.
So where would the power lift attach (yes, I have one; handy thing).
Would it attach to the part #1 or something that would attach to the
part 14 (the U itself)? Apparently if I have the power lift I don't
need that whole part#15 rube goldberg contraption.

You need the sleeve hitch adapter, which is sort of a 'U'-shaped
piece. The ends of the 'U' attach to the hanger under the ET that the
trailer hitch attaches to. At the tip of the 'U' is the sleeve hitch.
You also need a manual or electric rear lift (which you have now
right?). I made one if you want to see it or get measurements. It's
pretty simple.
