Re: (ET) Deck motors

That looks exactly like my motor.
The flange is in the right spot, I'll let you know how it works, Thanks!

Eric, Randy, If you don't mind changing brackets (and paying a $215 price tag), brand NEW GE/New Idea deck motors are in stock at http://www.kansaswindpower.net/motors.htm.

The flanging may have to be changed. I have done so, and although it
isn't easy, it is doable.

Subject: (ET) Deck motors

I have an E8M that needs a mower deck motor. Anyone have a spare fore sale?
This is an "as new" machine, literally owned by a little old lady and kept in her garage since new. I lent to my dad and he tried to cut long grass in high gear. :(
Melted one armature.
Has anyone adapted any other motors to these units?

Thanks
Randy
