Most of the Black and Decker Corded and all the Cordless mowers use permag
motors.

Basically, they have 2 diameters - -  for 120VAC they have the 6 amp and 
the
12 amp (larger diam) version.
They use same size outer shell/magnets for the 12 and 24 VDC cordless
motors, but the winding wire is thicker/fewer turns - so only the outer
shell is interchangeable between 120VAC and 12 or 24 VDC model motors.

Half the ones I have found in the trash were damaged by magnet coming loose
from steel shell.
