(ET) 12M mower deck question

A couple people have suggested that the mower deck rollers should be on 
the ground--and presumably rolling.  :-)   This makes sense but  leads 
me to wonder if the same is true of the front metal 'hoops'?   Obviously 
they don't roll, like the rollers, or wheels, and I'd think it'd be 
better to have them very slightly off the ground, from a friction stand 
point.   Perhaps when I'm able to get this to a flat surface to check 
for level, I'll find that when level, the front is slightly off the 
ground?  Any thoughts?
