RE: (ET) Snowthrower Yahoo!

If the weighbox has something flat on top, you can even get someone to sit
on it for a minute.

When it's thowing, it will get in the red at times.

I recommend going thru the wiring for the PTO connector, especially at
the connector. Those connections tend to get loose and/or the wires
oxidized. It will get hot, smoke, and melt the insulation back---- so
I've heard ;-)

I use chains (two link) and the ET weight box. I put two dead batteries
in and use the center to store a small shovel, tools, etc. A definate
help. Never used wheel weights. Wheel weights are good in that they
don't load down the axles, but I never thought about Chris' observation
about the counterbalancing effect of weight behind the tractor. That
makes sense. It does help to counteract the blower weight.

Now is the time to check the strap condition and tighten loose bolts,
etc. It's a real pain out in the snow -- again, so I've been told ;-)
