Correct. And that should connect via wire 51 to the one terminal on the
lift motor that is oriented sideways to the other two.
The lift lower switch connects the same polarity to
> either the lift coil or lower coil on the motor.
Correct again. The top end of the pack (+36v) flows through the main
disconnect and whatnot to the common of the raise/lower switch. This then
can send power to either of the two parallel terminals on the lift motor
via wires 18 and 19.
If it wont run in either direction, then it is worth opening it up for a
look. There's a thermal cutout switch in there and it or the brushes can
also get messed up.
These things were a common style of electric window motor so you may be
able to get a replacement motor or one to cannibalize for innards from a
junkyard. Just watch that some (all?) of the automotive ones use the
case for common. You'd need to break the connection to the case and bring
out a third wire for the common.
