Re: (ET) Blade attachment - idiot award

*nod* I like the Sparrow; it's cute. We should talk offline about how you're planning on keeping the batteries alive. My Electric Geo Prizm has a pack that is about twice the size of a sparrow pack, but with the same logistics and characteristics (AGM, 300v, 52ah)

After looking at Markus Lorch's pictures I realized I
have item 38, mounting bracket for the blade! David
Roden dropped this off with the blade, but I have so

A major Dohhhhhh!!!!!
Either way the feedback helped and I have a better
idea how to mount the blade. Thanks again for the help!

David, stop by and drive the Sparrow, it's a blast.
For those on the list that are not familiar, check out

This is a 3 wheel EV that is really fun!.
I've been driving EV's for 14 years and have never got
such positive response (of course one was a Fiero
conversion I did and my current EV is the Dodge TEVan,
which is basically a Caravan, so most don't know it's
an EV).

Check the www.elec-trak.org website again.

Look at the Resources and click the Wheel Horse
Dozer manual.

It is only one page. Notice the Front Mounting
Bracket at the bottom of the
picture.

This mounting bracket replaces the mower bracket
with the two round rods.
The mower bracket
rods keep the front mower deck "shock absorbers"
from hitting the tractor
when you turn.

The dozer blade "ears" go over the big round bar at
the bottom of the Front
Mounting Bracket.

PS- I just bought one of the Wheel Horse Large Dozer
Blades and bracket on
Ebay. It has a bracket
that attaches to the transmission under the tractor.

I looked through the accessories catalog on
elec-trak.org but there was no good diagrams

showing

how the blade attachs.
I also looked at the gallery and seen Rob

Vasichek's

tractor with a blade, but it was at a bad angle.
Does anybody have good pictures that show how the
blade is attached?
If you have some email me direct.
Thanks,
Rod
