some problems like Chris had, when the wire melted from the inside out - depending on the temperature rating, the tubing could prevent two wires from melting together.
Oh, they never melted together, though to be honest they should have. What was happening essentially was that in speeds 1-3 the tractor was pulling all of it's motor current thru a 10 gauge wire. It seriously overloaded and welded itslef to the tractor body.
I'll solder the crimped connections this weekend. It's a supported connection; best that way.
