Sam's Club sells (or at least used to when I bought mine in 1999 or 2000)
new golf car batts - the kind you need -for around the same price $50-$55
(you'll need a trade in, or at the least will pay $5 extra per battery with
no core trade). I believe they are/were manufactured by Trojan. I did a
quick online search of the Sam's Club web site, but there were no
auto/marine/golf car batteries at all listed. That means they either got 
out
of the battery business, or the web site just doesn't list them but the
stores still stock them. I guess you'll have to check locally (if they are
near you), if interested.
