Soneil 3610SRF (was Re: (ET) Charger working?)

Here's a charger option I have not seen posted before. The Soneil 3610SRF.

http://www.soneil.com/Complete%20sets/3610SRF(Rev03).15-Jul-03.pdf

I have one installed on my E12 now (which has now blown its 3rd charger
capacitor).
This thing is small - I have it sitting on the shelf beside the original
charger.
What I really like about this charger is that it is designed to be left
plugged in
and operate unattended. No timer. It is intelligent and senses when the
voltage
drops, and then charges up again. At peak charge (maintaining), I saw the
voltage
get to 44.3 volts - briefly. Then it settled back to the mid-42 volt
range for a
few minutes, then the charger shut off again. Ideal for me in summer when
tractor
is located at cottage (and I'm not).

US$145 plus shipping. I haven't had this unit long, but so far, it works
as
advertised. May not be your first choice if fast charging is a
requirement, but
then the stock unit is pretty leisurely too. (I have hooked up a
heavy-duty variac
based charger - 30 amps + when I wanted faster charging.)
