RE: (ET) EV

James:

Welcome to the club. Pretty soon you will buy two or more "junkers" to support the one good one you have. Then you'll begin to think the junkers are really worth fixing. You will spend good money to do it. Next thing you'll know you will stand up in meetings and say "Hi I'm James, and I have a tractor problem." Welcome to the ET support group - or perhaps ETs anymous!

I have a loader - see www.plitch.com for details. This is a big boy, and it's all the E-15 can handle. I don't know how much smaller the E-12M is in terms of power. I believe the "M" has the same motor as the E-15, but I believe the belt reduction ratio is different. My 15 has more than enough power to push the bucket. The 15 does have a cast iron axle, which is probably important to this issue because I think I am operating at over the design limits of the front end when moving a bucket full of almost any material. One could get "radical" and adapt a heavy front axle and bigger front tires from another brand. I think the E-12 frame is the same size and weight as the E-15. I am sure someone can give you a complete and accurate answer as to the differences between the E-12M (the M is very significant here) and the E-15.

These buckets are hard to come by. I believe including mine I know of 3 bucket owners who have contacted me over the last couple of years.

I'd be happy to answer any questions about it.

Greetings all.

I've been a long time admierer of the Elec-Traks and have been trying to
buy
one for years but never managed to find that was both running and I could
afford.

Well, that's not a problem any more. I was just given (yeah given!) an
ET-12M that didn't run. Turned out that it was just a couple of bad
electrical connections. I repaired them and put in new batteries and she
runs like a dream.

Now I need implements for her. I want to use her on my 12 acre organic
farm. I have a big ole WD-45 gas tractor for big jobs, but I'd prefer to
use this one for the little jobs.

So in order I need:

1) Front lift assembly
2) Front scrape blade
3) Rear lift assembly
4) Rear tiller

5) front end loader.

While I'd love to have the front end loader, and would put that at the head
of the list, I was told that the E-12 just can't handle it. If it CAN I do
want it.

So anybody got anything?

James

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.
