I'm in favor of the Wiki plan.  Would someone like to volunteer to
host?  The requirement is to have a machine to do it on, with
reasonable bandwidth, enough technical facility to set it up, and the
ability to keep on top of things that might need to be done.  Under
usual circumstances it will run by itself, but undoubtedly people will
need help and so it's important that the person in charge not be so
busy as to be unable to respond to requests.
