Not surprised. Hate to say it, but I foudn my fuse was getting *HOT* due to the fact that it's a lousy contactor, and 30 amps is a lot to pull thru that style of fuse.

Replace it with a 30a DC breaker or something like that. The fuse block is fine for little junk like the lights, but not the lift, esp if you have a blower.
