(ET) Life after Bill.
Hi
As sorry as I am to see this happen. We all knew it as coming. The
bests bet would for a group/person/coop to take over the business. As
pointed out it would be an ideal internet store operation, or, a sideline
alone with another antique tractors parts operation. As for Bills
expertise,
that it not as easily replaced.
I am going to talk to the Wheelhouse guys about this, there are a
number of them who have pretty sophisticated parts operations and they
might
be willing to take on this inventory or parts of it. Seeing as it is
"Wheelhorse". I am will to do my part in terms of Technical Data and will
scan what I have for the new operation. I have and will continue to buy
from Bill if he stays or whoever take up the cause. I am even willing to
become part of Co-Op.
Parts/Shipping/Customs/Time Zones/ and exchange have always been a
significant problem for me here in Canada when dealing with Bill. So, to
CMA
I've been scouting out local part sources. With the exception of sheet
metals and decals, new parts can be found for Electraks at most good
Forklift shops. The motors can be rebuilt at any good Electric Motor Shop.
Regards.
