The other thing about the E-12M is that it's hard to clean the underside 
of the mower deck.  I like the compactness of my E12-M for parking in 
the shed, but the mower being buried under the thing has some drawbacks 
as well.  That said, it works fine.  If all you can get is the 12-M, go 
for it.  Mows my  acre of grass with no problem.
