Re: (ET) Transaxle leak

 Hi Jon,
I was not talking about the E8 or E10 transmission.
That should be a 1216 series Peerless.
That 2300 series trans is only in the large frame tractors.
The E15, E20 have series 2300's transmissions.
The E12 has either a 2318, four speed or 1716 three speed Peerless.
I would remove the transmission to change the bearing in the axle
housing.
Clean every thing first, before disassembly.
