Re: (ET) hybrid ET

Not to get too far off subject, but in a nutshell I think our ET's are
environmentally sound:

1. We are 'recycling', or keeping running, old tractors that would be
dumped
and replaced by new.
2. ICE yard tractors and lawnmowers account for signifcant amounts of air
pollution (figures not on hand, but I was surprised at how bad a problem
they are)
3. Electric vehicles, if recharged at night, esp during summer, help even
out the utilities' generating capacity, which makes them more efficient.
4. It's easier to increase efficiency and reduce pollution at a point
source
than many small, scattered, sources.
5. Use solar to recharge and really make an impact!

So I don't think it's such a downside. We do need to support
environmenatlly
sound lead-acid battery recycling.
