Some people have indeed posted that. I don't know what's different about
my
tractor or my use of the front lift, but it's been fine. I do use it a
fair
bit when plowing snow. Again, though, I always use the strap in the
"double
reduction" position (looped through the blade or mower and anchored at the
top). This probably reduces stress on the lift by halving the torque
required.
Having said that, I sure hope my lift doesn't burn out this winter!
